It helps prevent hot spots and maintains the temperature of the refrigerator.
This LG refrigerator was a standout during our tests. It provides ample space to feed a family, but we did notice a few irritating flaws. The drawers for the freezer aren't as cold as we'd like. The middle drawer sat at 41 degrees during our peak usage test, which is warm enough for ice cream and other frozen food items. The temperature in the rest of your freezer remained at about 36 degrees.
The doors of the refrigerator also have handles with sunken handles that make it difficult for those with smaller hands to close. This may seem insignificant but we prefer front mounted handles on refrigerators, which make them easier to open and shut.
This refrigerator is expensive, but it's well worth the money for anyone looking to have an ultra-modern appearance in their kitchen. This fridge is recommended for those who want to upgrade their current refrigerator or those who are building new homes and want a seamless kitchen.

One thing that sets the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line, which lets you customize your fridge using removable color panels that can be swapped out when you're tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 colors to choose from, from soft pastels to brighter hues and four metallic finishes. The interior of the refrigerator features an intelligent finish that reduces the appearance of smudges and makes cleaning simpler. The only negatives to the RF23M8090SG are its somewhat cramped beverage center and a bit of a learning curve in opening the door-in-door feature that houses a water pitcher and a dispenser. Once you have it, the second door opens up inside the fridge, housing the docking station for the pitcher as well as the water dispenser.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
French door refrigerators are a wonderful addition to any kitchen. They are sleek and are a great fit for all sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are a great option if you're looking for this style but without the added height. This Frigidaire model that we've extensively tested and received an above-average rating in our evaluations due to its low cost and thoughtful features, such as an adjustable temperature drawer.
However, it has a few minor problems. Our tests show that the FGHB2866PF can get very hot significantly in the freezer, and can become uncomfortable hot in the most inner shelves of the fridge. Our heat maps show how the temperature fluctuates minute by minute. The orange region in the upper right corner, which is the butter bin, has been particularly warm for most of our testing period. That might not seem so awful at first glance however, it means that the fridge is spending a large portion of its time above 33 degrees.
It's worth noting that this model isn't Energy Star certified, which could be important for certain buyers. The issue is that this fridge isn't very good. It's not equipped with the latest features and a durable construction, making it difficult to recommend it over more expensive options at this price point.
In many ways, the Frigidaire looks and feels like the stainless steel version of a fridge you might see at your local appliances store. It's a safe option with a smooth finish that looks great and is impervious to smudges, but it does not make a lot of an effort to differentiate itself from other brands with more features and less expensive.
If you're looking for a counter-depth french-door refrigerator but don't want to spend a lot of money the FGHC2331PF might be worth considering. It has enough storage space for many families, and does a good job of keeping food fresh. Even even if it's not an energy efficient unit, it's much less expensive than our best-rated models.
